I whant new races ^^ and the 5-6 most logical races are these.
1. Dwarves (you all love these bearded fellas)
2. Charr (who whants a pet when you can play like a charr?)
3. Undead (rather smelly but it might be fun)
4. Tengu (my personal favorite ooh i would murder somebody only to play as these little birds)
5. Forgotten (only the snake types the enchanted armors suck)
the only problem would be to make the new armor for them not that hard with dwarves tengu and undead but its gonna be a problem with Charr and Forgotten >.<
Another note where do those races come from ^^ the charr come from even farther to the north so a new map is possible the Desert is a great starting place for the forgotten (not the desert that whe have now but maybe more early in the game when first humans entered the desert) the storyline would have a twist, When playing as charr you dont like seeing a punny human but when you see some undead you think meh let him walk .
And last but not least PvP with the new races would be awsome Humans, Dwarves and maybe Tengu against Undead, Charr and forgotten whell what do you think?

personally, of course i would like to see new factions added to the game. Besides that, it would be good too if the game goes like fable. For example, in the beginning of the game, you are neutral. When you are given a quest, there are multiple way to finish it. Your choices of actions in the game (for doing quests) will gradually determine which factions you are going to be. The reason that i include this is that this will bring more replayability to the game and the player determines the course of the story. However, i hope that arenanet will come out with a good solution if there are unequal number of players between factions that might lead to serious imbalance of the game.
Speaking of the single player, i also hoped that the story and gameplay of the role-playing part of Guild Wars expansion will be as good as any other single player RPG such that the story is fast paced that brings intensity and as i said, the role-playing part is replayable, making the player wants to come back for more.
Moreover, it would be good too if arenanet add some sneaky type of character that can go into stealth mode, go behind enemy line and backstab somebody. Personally, i love the excitement when i managed to finish off somebody in one hit. However, i hope that it will not lead to imbalance of the game

I'd love to see a couple new professions, and as far as races go...start thinking outside the box. With an expansion comes new areas, with new races we haven't seen yet. Chances are a new race is one not currently in the game. There is going to be hundred's of new skills available for every profession, so those of you wanting that will get it. As far as PvP goes, I see seperate arenas for expansion characters if they raise the level cap, and if not you'll probably only be able to do Tombs with the expansion characters, and have seperate arenas.

Thing I want most is upgrades and customisation for Guild Halls. From the sounds of things I might just get it too.

There are a few things I have heard from AN or NCSoft employees that are likely to be in the next chapter…
We will be getting new PvP arenas including new PvP game types and more PvE content for certain.
We will abe getting new professions OR new species OR both.
We will be seeing a change in the way that the zones are designed. Think more in line with the footprint and the furnace maps.
We will be getting observer mode sometime this coming year for certain. AN has not set a time table for this that I know of but I would guess that it will launch in conjunction with or shortly before or after the next chapter. This will supposedly also be made available to those who only have chapter one (though I did not hear that first hand).
It is highly likely that we will get more character slots. How many? I have no clue and AN has not said anything other than it’s “likely.”
There will be "new content" added to guild halls, most likely of which is some form of practice arena. Nothing more exact has been stated. I have no idea if it will be added in with the next chapter or not, we will see the ability to customize guild halls at some point.
---
This section contains speculation based on official and unofficial AN responses to questions...
We may get the ability to dual wield in the next chapter as it is something that has been asked for several times and every AN response has been, "That would be cool!" And then there's that whole video with dual-wielding. That may or may not come in the form of a new profession.
More emotes will be added at some point, but I don’t have any idea if that will have anything to do with the next chapter or not.
As mentioned by someone (I think the frog) the statues of Dwana and... uh, whatever that other one is, may be seeing some use "Sometime in the near future." Whatever that means.
New character customization options “may” be in the next chapter.
I’m not certain if we will be getting new weapon types, new weapon models or just weapons with different stats, but one or the other will probably make it into the update. As vague as the responses have been to this question I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up by saying I think that there will be new weapon types.
---
Here is a short list of things that we will most likely not be getting in the near future according to AN responses at different times…
Mounts
The ability to jump or swim
Additional weather effects
Leveling beyond 20
Level requirements on items
Ninja’s or pirates as a new profession
---
Keep in mind that the answers that AN give us to questions are subject to change because the dev's are quick to adapt and change the game with several different options during the test stage. So, while we can guess, even they don't know for certain what all will make it in.
This list is not all-inclusive because I am not all knowing.

They said they are considering raising the max level, as 20 means little improvement.
Level requirements on armor is probably coming, because of the abuse in Ascalon Arena.

According to Gaile, Observer mode will be here for the finals in the World Chapmionship, which means about 3 months at most. She also said about character slots - 'We wouldn't give you new professions and expect you to delete an existing character to use them would we?'.

I want
* to be able to have my PvE chars in PvP areas to access my unlocked skills. So, my mesmer once in an PvP outpost can use the monk skills I unlocked with my ranger and go PvP. Once out of the PvP-area, these skills of course cannot be used anymore. So, I dont have to buy the monk skills (even if I unlocked them) for my mesmer.
* to be able to change my PvP-only-char without being forced to delete it and create a new one. Like I made a curse necro with a curse weapon in slot 1 and death wweapon in slot 2. Hey, I want to test a blood build; omg I do not have a blood weapon. Hmm, delete char and make a new one to put a blood weapon in my weapon slot.

Exact opposite, actually. We have no intention of changing the level cap at the current time. The level cap has been set at 20 for a long time, and much of the game is designed around that level cap.

Really? Where'd you hear that? It's possible I guess ... but something like this will most likely be done via a patch, not a retail product.

Thats sad!
More maps, more quests, more ways to make your chr unique in fashion... I don't really care much. There's only 1 think I expect in any expansion: that new chr. devellopement makes exisiting chr's stronger! Either by new items or more skills/levels, or both.

NEW PROFESSIONS
NEW SKILLS
gives you different options without a mindless little twit having 10 hours a day to get enough levels to automatically beat someone else.
if you have your heart on grinding out the power to be superior to someone else or getting the magic item of oh godley i shall one hit kill you power up than this game is not for you.
save your money for the next game you will like better and more fun to you when you play it whatever it is

Chap 2 should include:
-The maximum level should be higher than 20 (lvl 30-50 should be max lvl)
-Beta weapons should be brought back into the game
-More than one interface style (i dont mean setup of interface as in skill bar top, health left, energy right, etc... i mean to have an option of beta style interface and current interface)
-no ninja/rogue
-cross class skills
-1 vs 1 pvping

I dont want anymore levels. Levels are just for people with too much time on their hands. More attribute points would be nice though. I'd like to be able to have more than 2 attibutes maxed for more flexibility of characters.

Quoted for freakin truth.
Level 20 is fine. The only thing a high obtainable level does is breed elitism, and we have Tombs/HoH/GvG to bring out our elitists. We don't need any more saying "omg, ur only lvl 23, haha, u n00b, I'm level 36". Just... no. No. No no no. I'll protest it.

raising the attribute points as you are saying would have to also be allowed for people who do not wish to purchase chap 2 otherwise it would be completely unfair for them.
leaving the lvl cap at 20 is good as it is easier for anet to balance out the professions and skills. Anyone wanting to raise the lvl cap above 20 should just play some mmorpg like wow or eq.
